Our spa centre shares a building with the treatment wing, so there is nowhere to travel between a bath, a physiotherapy session and an hour of rest. Part of what is here comes with your stay; the rest is booked separately.
Included in the package:
- Finnish sauna and steam room
- Turkish hammam
- Charcot shower
- Heated indoor pool
- Gym and fitness room
- Yoga and relaxation classes
Booked separately:
- Hot stone massage — smoothed basalt stones are warmed and worked over specific areas; the heat helps muscles let go and makes the massage itself easier to take
- Kese and foam massage — the hammam tradition: the body is softened with steam, dead skin lifted with a kese mitt, then a soft massage under deep foam
- Coffee scrub and anti-cellulite scrub — to clear the skin's surface and support a smoother look
- Chocolate wrap — a softening, unhurried treatment with a warm aroma
- Classic and therapeutic massage — local or full-body, following your physician's programme
- Hair care — cleansing, conditioning and masks using naftalan-based products
Massage is scheduled around the medical course: an intensive massage is never booked for the same day as a naftalan bath. Which treatments suit you is settled at the consultation on arrival.
Procedures in this service
The most popular massage: it brings general ease to the body, speeds circulation and reduces muscle tension. Given by trained therapists with quality massage oils.
Following your physician's programme, it can be prescribed locally — lower back, neck, shoulders — or full-body.
A relaxing treatment at light to medium pressure, meant to rest body and mind and lift everyday stress and fatigue. Aromatic oils and light rhythmic strokes are used.
Best scheduled for the evening, after the heavier days of a treatment course.
Head massage helps ease tension, brings a sense of ease and improves circulation. By increasing blood flow in the scalp it nourishes the hair roots.
Gentle pressure and circular strokes create a general calm; the nervous system relaxes during the massage, which can improve the quality of sleep. It may bring relief in migraine and tension headaches in particular.
Anti-cellulite massage speeds circulation beneath the skin, increases the delivery of oxygen and helps break down fatty tissue.
It strengthens blood and lymph flow, improves the oxygen supply to cells and supports the skin's elasticity and smoothness. Given as a course, usually alongside lymphatic drainage sessions.
Hot stone massage uses smoothed stones, mostly basalt, warmed and worked over specific areas of the body. The heat they give off helps muscles let go and makes the massage itself easier to take.
It helps reduce muscle tension and heaviness, and deepens a sense of ease and calm.
Kese and foam massage is a spa treatment from the Turkish hammam tradition, aimed at cleansing the body deeply and letting it relax.
It runs in three stages: the body is first softened with hot steam, then the dead cells on the skin's surface are lifted with a kese mitt, and finally a soft massage is given under deep foam. The result is a feeling of lightness and ease.
A coffee scrub used to peel the body's skin, helping clear the surface and leaving it looking smoother and fresher.
It is usually planned as part of a sequence, together with a massage or a body wrap.
Applied to care for the skin of the body and to support a smoother appearance. It gives a better result when planned as a course together with anti-cellulite massage.
A relaxing treatment with a warm chocolate aroma that helps the skin of the body feel soft and cared for.
It is usually applied after a scrub — the wrap is felt more once the skin has been cleared.
Hair care covers the cleansing, feeding and protection that keeps hair healthy, clean, bright and strong.
The programme includes a shampoo matched to your hair type — using naftalan products — conditioner and balm, strengthening with masks and oils, and protection from damaging heat.
